Subject: Camp Field get-together

Admit it, you've thought of organizing a Camp Field staff reunion
so that you could get together and reacquaint yourself with some
old friends. Well, even though we are not organizing such an
event at this time, an informal get-together may be all we need
to get the ball rolling. So here are the details, come and join
us if possible.

     Date:  July 14-16 (Fri-Sun)
     Place: Black Pine camp ground (commonly referred to as
            Rock Island when I worked at camp -- it's the camp
            ground at the end of the Icicle River Road, a half
            mile or so before the French Creek trail head.)

This is an informal (i.e., unorganized) get-together. Thus you
are responsible for obtaining your own camp site at Black Pine,
bringing your own camping equipment, and supplying your own food.
There is some nominal charge for a camp site, maybe $5/night.
Note that we will be competing for camp sites with the general
public. If Black Pine fills up, find a camp site at a nearby
campground, or rough it at a Leavenworth motel and drive out
for a visit. Bring your photo albums and prep your vocal cords
for some camp songs.

Spread the word! Use email, phone, or the US mail to tell all your
old Camp Field friends; simply send/read this note to them.

In the future I will likely create some sort of mailing list for
folks interested in Camp Field news/reunions. For now, if you are
interested in receiving such email, send your name and email
address to roth@cps.gonzaga.edu
